It was such a joy to plant more than 1200 lavender plants by hand on our family farmland — transforming a quiet field into something even more beautiful.

At Zsu Atelier, we believe that when something is grown with care, it carries a deeper kind of beauty. Our lavender is cultivated without chemicals, nurtured by sun and soil, and harvested by hand each summer — a true family ritual. Together, we gather the fragrant flowers in their full bloom, honoring the rhythm of the seasons and the purity of the process.

Once harvested, the lavender is taken to a nearby distillery, where it is steam-distilled in the gentlest way — using only water and heat. This method preserves the delicate character of the essential oil: its calming scent, its clarity, and its quiet strength. What results is not just an ingredient, but an essence — a reflection of where it came from and how it was made.

We see lavender not simply as a flower, but as a way to connect: to the earth, to tradition, to the beauty of doing things slowly and with heart.
