In today’s beauty market, it’s easy to get lost among the endless anti-aging products promising miraculous results. However, one ingredient stands above the rest: retinol, a form of vitamin A, proven to be the most effective anti-aging compound available.

Retinol is pure vitamin A and belongs to the family of retinoids. Start by using it once or twice a week, then after a month, increase to three or four times per week. Not all skin types can tolerate daily use.

Studies typically examine periods of six months or more, consistently showing significant improvements in the skin’s appearance. Retinol is best used in your evening skincare routine, and in the morning, don’t forget to apply proper sun protection.
One innovative member of the retinoid family is Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (HPR), a new-generation compound. Unlike traditional retinol, HPR doesn’t need to convert into retinoic acid to renew skin cells, which makes it gentler with fewer side effects. As a result, HPR is an increasingly popular ingredient in skincare products.
